Benjamin Horvat Page
Benjamin HorvatNative of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; some of Horvat’s fondest memories are of walking on the beach of Lake Michigan, singing songs in 4-part harmony with a group of friends.  While in highschool, he also enjoyed playing French Horn in a concert with the Manitowac Symphony.  More recently, He’s completed a degree in Voice Pedagogy from Lawrence University with some additional music study at North Park and Roosevelt University.  Horvat has been vocal coach/pit orchestra conductor for numerous musicals and has directed a community chorus through busy concert seasons.  He has been seen performing as Tamino (Magic Flute), Werther (Werther), Semore (Little Shop of Horrors), Splinters (The Tenderland), Eisenstein (Die Fledermause).  He’s sung the tenor solos of Bernstein’s Chinchester Psalms with the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra and sang the Messiah tenor solos with the Milwaukee Symphony.  He also served as a church musician in Germany for two years.  Since moving to Chicago, he’s sung as a tenor ringer for Queen of All Saints Basilica and sung solos for Willow Creek Community Church-Chicago.
