Jennifer received her B.A. in Music from DePauw University in 1990. After graduating she moved to Chicago where she started her Opera/Musical Theatre performing career. She has performed such roles as: Maria, in West Side Story; Rosa Bud, in The Mystery of Edwin Drood; Magnolia, in Show Boat; Anne in A Little Night Music; Christine in Phantom; Marion in The Music Man; Casilda in The Gondoliers; Mimi in La Boheme; Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi; Gretel in Hansel and Gretel; Adele in Die Fledermaus; Lucy in The Telephone and Zerbinetta/Berta in Italian Opera with such companies as Great Lakes Opera, Dayton Opera, Columbus Light Opera, Milwaukee Opera, Chicago Opera Theatre, Circa ’21 Theatre, Chicago Chamber Opera and Bowen Park Opera.
While in the Chicago area she also sang with the Chicago Symphony Chorus and performed solo oratorio works with Lake Forest Symphony, Dayton Opera, Zion Chamber Orchestra and Antioch Festival Arts.
Jennifer relocated to Two Rivers in 2004. Here she teaches voice at UW Manitowoc and privately at her home in Two Rivers. Jennifer sings with the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble and Lakeshore Big Band. She also music directs with Dare to Dream Theatre. She loves her new home here in Manitowoc/Two Rivers!
